Sample answer

Study the organization, not the script

Dear Property Manager, I am writing about the elevator in Building C, which has been out of service three times during the past two weeks. Residents are often not warned until we reach the lobby and see a notice on the door. This is especially difficult for seniors, parents with strollers and anyone carrying groceries to the upper floors. Yesterday evening, one elderly resident had to wait in the lobby because she was unable to use the stairs safely. Could you please provide residents with an update on the repair schedule and send email notices whenever the elevator is unavailable? If the repair will take several days, I also ask that management arrange temporary assistance for residents with mobility needs. Thank you for addressing this issue promptly. Sincerely, Jordan Lee
