This Privacy Policy explains what personal data MyCELPIP collects, why, how it is used, and the choices you have. It applies to the MyCELPIP website and application.

• Account data: name, email address, and authentication data managed by our authentication provider.
• Profile data: country, time zone, current/target CELPIP level, exam date, study preferences, and consent choices you provide during onboarding or in Settings.
• Practice content: your answers, Writing responses, Speaking audio recordings and transcripts, bookmarks, and mistake-notebook entries.
• Usage data: pages visited, features used, and device/browser information, collected via analytics tools.
• Billing data: subscription plan and status; payment card details are handled directly by our payment processor and are never stored on our servers.

• To provide and personalize the Platform, including your study plan and dashboard;
• To generate AI-assisted Writing and Speaking feedback (see below);
• To process payments and manage subscriptions;
• To send transactional and, with your consent, marketing emails;
• To detect abuse, enforce fair-use limits, and maintain platform security;
• To improve the Platform through aggregated, de-identified analytics.

Writing responses and Speaking recordings you submit for evaluation are sent to our AI and speech-processing providers solely to generate transcripts, pronunciation analytics, and feedback. These providers process this data under their own data-processing terms and do not use it to train models that serve other customers, consistent with our provider agreements.

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers who help us operate the Platform (hosting, database, authentication, payments, AI evaluation, transcription, pronunciation analysis, email delivery, analytics, error monitoring), each bound by contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations, or where required by law.

We retain account and practice data for as long as your account is active, and for a limited period afterward to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw marketing consent at any time. Contact us via the Contact page to exercise these rights.

We use industry-standard safeguards — encryption in transit, access controls, row-level database security, and audit logging — to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password.

The Platform is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.

We use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or an in-app notice before they take effect.
