CELPIP 30-Day Study Plan: A Four-Week Practice Roadmap
A month gives you enough time to use CELPIP practice as a cycle: diagnose, repair, retest and simulate. The goal is not to complete the largest possible number of questions. It is to make your weakest processes more reliable on unfamiliar material.
Week 1 — diagnose and build the routine
Start with one full CELPIP mock test. Record performance separately for Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking, then identify the weakest task types inside those skills.
Use the weakness diagnostic and score target planner to turn the baseline into priorities.
Spend the rest of Week 1 learning the format and correcting the largest two weaknesses.
Week 2 — task-level repair
Make targeted practice the majority of your study.
Use:
- Listening practice for the six Listening parts;
- Reading practice for the four Reading parts;
- Writing practice for both Writing tasks;
- Speaking practice for all eight Speaking tasks.
The 20-task practice hub lets you isolate the exact task instead of repeating an entire section.
Keep an error log with the task, error type, evidence you missed and the correction you will test next time.
Week 3 — timing and transfer
Introduce realistic timing. Mix skills within the same study session so that your strategy still works after task switching and concentration fatigue.
Take another full mock near the middle or end of the week. Compare it with the baseline rather than judging the score in isolation.
Week 4 — simulate and stabilize
Use one or two realistic simulations with targeted repair between them. Avoid taking full mocks every day.
During the final week, prioritize the weaknesses still appearing on fresh material. Reduce study volume near test day and protect sleep and concentration.
A simple weekly rhythm
Use four targeted practice days, one mixed timed day, one mock or longer checkpoint, and one lighter review/recovery day. Adjust the balance toward your weakest skill.
If your target is a specific Canadian Language Benchmark, use the CELPIP score calculator and score guide to understand the mapping, then measure each skill separately.
