Free public diagnostic

Find your likely CELPIP weakness and what to practise next

Complete four short objective questions, flag the Writing and Speaking problems you actually notice, and get a targeted three-step practice priority list. No account is required.

This tool does not estimate an official CELPIP score. It is designed to help you choose the next practice task more intelligently than repeating full mock tests without a diagnosis.

Step 1 · Objective check

Answer four short Reading and Listening questions

These are original MyCELPIP diagnostic items. They are not official CELPIP questions and they do not produce a CELPIP score.

Reading · Reading Correspondence

A notice says the gym closes at 9 p.m. on weekdays, but members must enter by 8:30 p.m. A member arrives at 8:45 p.m. What is the best conclusion?

Reading · Reading for Viewpoints

A writer says a new transit plan is expensive but still necessary because delays are hurting local businesses. What is the writer's overall position?

Listening · Listening to Problem Solving

Two coworkers discuss a meeting conflict. One first suggests moving the meeting to noon, but later they agree to keep the original time and send one person the notes. Which detail matters most?

Listening · Listening to Viewpoints

A speaker says remote work is convenient, although new employees may learn faster in person. What should you record in your notes?

Step 2 · Productive-skill self-check

Flag the Writing and Speaking problems you actually notice

This part is self-reported, so treat it as a starting hypothesis. A timed response and structured feedback are stronger evidence.

Why MyCELPIP separates diagnosis from scoring

A four-question public diagnostic is too small to justify a CELPIP level claim. Its job is narrower: surface likely error patterns, combine them with your own Writing/Speaking observations, and route you into a more useful next practice task. Use timed full-skill practice and repeated results to judge whether a weakness is real and improving.
