CELPIP 14-Day Study Plan: Two Weeks of Targeted Practice
Two weeks is enough time to run a focused CELPIP improvement cycle, but not if every day is another full mock. Use the first days to identify the exact tasks costing you marks, spend the middle of the plan repairing those weaknesses, and use fresh timed material near the end to verify that the improvement transfers.
Days 1–2 — establish your baseline
On Day 1, take a realistic full CELPIP mock test or complete all four skill sections under normal timing. Record your weakest skill and the exact task type causing difficulty.
On Day 2, review errors. Separate knowledge problems from timing, attention and task-strategy problems. If you are unsure where to begin, use the CELPIP weakness diagnostic.
Days 3–5 — repair receptive skills
Use Listening practice and Reading practice, but prioritize the parts identified by your baseline.
For each wrong answer, identify why the chosen option failed. Then verify the correction on fresh questions instead of memorizing the old set.
Days 6–8 — repair productive skills
Complete fresh Writing practice and Speaking practice.
For Writing, check task fulfillment, organization, vocabulary and readability. For Speaking, check content/coherence, vocabulary, listenability and task fulfillment. Track one repeated weakness at a time.
Day 9 — mixed timed practice
Combine Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking work in one session. The purpose is to practise switching tasks while preserving your method under time pressure.
Day 10 — targeted retest
Return to the two weakest task types from Day 1. Use new material. Compare accuracy, completion and pacing with the baseline.
Day 11 — full simulation
Take another full mock test. Do not pause between sections to study.
Compare the result with Day 1. Improvement should appear in the task types you deliberately trained.
Days 12–13 — final repair
Spend these days on the current weakest areas, not the weaknesses you had at the start if they have already improved. Keep practice focused and timed.
Use the 20-task CELPIP practice hub to jump directly to the exact Listening, Reading, Writing or Speaking task you need.
Day 14 — controlled review
Use a lighter session. Review recurring errors, your note-taking shorthand, Writing planning process and Speaking response structure. Avoid exhausting yourself with several full mocks immediately before the real test.
For current test structure and instructions, use the CELPIP-General guide and verify official test-day requirements directly with CELPIP.
