Recommendation → compare commute → compare cost/convenience → connect to listener → close

Original sample answer

I really think the smaller apartment near your workplace is the better choice. The larger unit gives you more space, but you would spend almost two hours commuting every day. With the closer apartment, you could walk or take a short bus ride, which would save transportation costs and give you much more free time after work. It is also close to grocery stores and a gym, so the location makes everyday errands easier. Since you live alone, I do not think an extra bedroom is worth giving up that much time. I would choose convenience and a shorter commute.
